Ken Kurson has had a fascinating career filled with experiences in some of the country’s leading newspapers including Squire and the Commercial Observer. Kurson was editor of the New York Observer for a very long time, announcing its development into one of the leading digital media in the media industry. Under Kurson’s tenure, the newspaper conducted some of its best investigative journals and established itself as the go-to newspaper for New York’s elite.

The Observer’s readership has become the most sophisticated and richest of all New York media. It was regularly read by the titans of the industry; leaders and patrons of the arts; and some of the most influential people in politics and beyond. Of course, its coverage of the real estate industry and its annual “power” lists have certainly helped cultivate interest in the newspaper among members of New York’s elite.

In addition to his directing of The New York Observer, Kurson contributed commentary in the form of some of his own conservative political sensitivities to Raison and other conservative and mainstream media properties. He has also received extensive media coverage in recent years, given his close relationship with Senior White House adviser Jared Kushner. This close relationship between Kushner and Kurson has served almost as a sort of obsession among some media publications.

The New York Times for example, has covered their relationship extensively, with an array of political commentators speculating on Kurson’s involvement in some of President Trump’s most prolific speeches. This speculation of course seems somewhat justified, given Kurson’s career in speech writing and co-authoring numerous books with some of the major political figures of our time.

But Kurson’s imprint and involvement in Republican politics dates back decades, far beyond any involvement he has had as an outside adviser to the current presidential administration. He was COO of Rudy Giuliani’s 2008 presidential campaign for the Republican Party nomination.

Even before that, Kurson served as Mayor Giuliani’s loyal lieutenant in a range of other functions. For example, in 2002, Kurson worked as deputy director of communications for Giuliani Partners, Giuliani’s longtime consulting firm. Kurson was regularly by Giuliani’s side on many of his travels, both at home and abroad, serving as his speechwriter and consigliere.

In fact, Kurson was the co-author of Giuliani Leadership’s bestseller, which became an instant bestseller on Amazon and in bookstores across the country. Kurson has written books with other prominent influencers not only in politics, but also in communications and finance. This included Kurson’s authorship of The Faber report with longtime CNBC host and commentator David Faber. Kurson was also the co-author of Chasing Miracles: The Crowley Family’s Journey of Strength, Hope and Joy.

Kurson is also a proud Jew who has always supported the State of Israel. As Before reported, Kurson was instrumental in drafting President Trump’s speech he delivered at the US Conference on Israeli Public Affairs during the 2016 campaign. The speech was an extremely important milestone for Trump and his campaign. because he helped position candidate Trump as someone who took foreign policy seriously. It also helped cement his support within the pro-Israel community; a support bloc that would continue to grow as his campaign gathered pace.

Besides the importance of the speech from a political standpoint, much of it was also found to be prescient, with many in the pro-Israel community now announcing President Trump as the most pro-Israel president to ever honor. an oval office in modern America. the story. Of course, for those in the pro-Israel community (Evangelicals and Jews alike), this point has plenty of evidence to back it up.

The president’s move of the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, making Jerusalem the eternal capital of the State of Israel, was something so many of his predecessors had promised members of the pro community. -Israel, and never held out. In contrast, President Trump has consistently pledged to do so during the campaign and, of course, when he took office, he made sure to stay true to his word.

While we never know what impact Kurson’s pro-Israel views may have had on President Trump’s decisions that have proven favorable and even critical to the long-standing US-Israel alliance, one can only assume. that it certainly didn’t hurt. Of course, the alliance between our two countries has been of great value to American national security, as Kurson has consistently pointed out in his writings.

Kurson is a practicing Jew who resides in New Jersey. As if his own careers in politics and journalism weren’t versatile and exciting enough, he is also a musician and bassist for the Chicago rock band “Green”, and he founded “The Lilacs” in 1990 with David Levinsky. He is a devoted father, staunch friend and practitioner of Stoicism, whom he cited as a device that has proven useful in enabling him to thrive in the midst of chaos.
